Erik is going to run away and join the circus, sigh!

The circus came to town and we went! We love this featured performer, Bello Nock. He is a 7th generation circus performer who is not just a clown. He walks the tightrope, flies through the air on a bungee, and has the most amazing hair - bright red and it stands straight up on his head. We had seen him 2 years ago during our first trip to the circus with Erik and we loved him. So the chance to take Adam to see him was something we couldn't pass up. We had great seats this time, after the last show we saw too much elephant rear and what comes from it. So anyway, during the second act, Bello makes his way up in our section and Erik scrambles to the aisle to shake his hand. Very confidently, he asks Bello "How do you get your hair to stand up like that?" Bello replies, "I was born with it this way." Then Bello asks how old Erik is...and he said 6 1/2??? Guess he got a little star-struck. Finally, Bello asks if Erik would like to help him in the center ring - well, you guessed it, Erik practically took off with him. Chris was also invited to go and take pictures. Being the great parents that we are, we left both camera and video camera at home. The trusty cell phone came in handy once again. The pictures don't really do the event justice, but at least we have some to share!
